Friends of Parkhead Congregational

Alchoholics Anonymous

"Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.

The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. A.A. is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy; neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety."

Congregational Federation

The Congregational Federation is a fellowship of Congreagational Churches who seek to encourage one another in living with Jesus.

"Congregationalism is all about Christians working and worshipping together
in independent congregations making decisions as God leads them in matters of
worship, witness and service to their communities"

Glasgow Navigators

"We are a group of students from each of the Universities & Colleges and many different churches in Glasgow. Our aim is to help each other know and trust Jesus Christ and learn through his example and teaching how to live."

"Each week we meet together in small groups to get to know one another (usually over a meal) and to openly examine and discuss what the bible teaches, with the aim of applying its truth to our lives. Through this focus on the bible & the honest sharing amongst friends, & especially through praying for each other, we help each other live as disciples of Jesus."
